2008 D2Football.com All-America Team
Abilene Christian running back
Bernard Scott and Grand Valley defensive lineman Dan Skuta highlight the 100
players named to the 2008 D2Football.com All-America Team.
Of the 52 schools with players
selected to the team, Abilene Christian and Grand Valley led with seven overall
selections each. Abilene Christian and West Texas A&M led with three
first-team selections each. National Champion Minnesota-Duluth had five players
selected to the team, as did runner-up Northwest Missouri.
The 2008 Harlon Hill winner, Scott
was the easy choice for the Offensive Player of the Year. Skuta was selected as
the Defensive Player of the Year. Minnesota-Duluth's, Bob Nielson who inherited
a four-win team turned it into a champion, was named the Coach of the Year.
The D2Football.com All-America
Team was selected by the staff of D2Football.com with input from coaches and
sports information directors from around the country.
D2Football.com has named an
All-America Team since its inception in 2000.
