Colorado Mines - RMAC
Defensive Line

Colorado School of Mines Department of Athletics invites applications for the Assistant Football Coach. This position will have primary responsibility for coaching the defensive line. Mines is an NCAA Division II member and competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC).

In addition to coaching assignments focused on defense, the Assistant Football Coach will assist the Head Coach with administration of the football program up to and including: preparation and management of games and team functions, scheduling, organizing camps and clinics, adherence to NCAA, RMAC and Mines rules and regulations and general administrative duties. Assists with recruitment of qualified student athletes, team travel, maintaining equipment budget, inventory and fundraising. Performs other coaching duties as necessary, including teaching physical activity courses.

Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelors degree and football coaching experience at the secondary or collegiate level. Demonstrated skills in practice/game plan development, general administrative duties and a general understanding of NCAA rules compliance are also required.

Wisconsin-Lacross - Division III
Assistant Coach

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse is searching for a 9-month instructional academic staff position in which the individual will serve as an assistant football coach (50%) and will teach in the Exercise and Sport Science Department (45%). The position will start on or around August 10, 2013.

At the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, we value diverse backgrounds and beliefs, a viewpoint that we hope is shared by
our new colleague. The new Assistant Football Coach and ESS Lecturer must conduct him or herself in such a way as to
enhance respect for the University, UW-L Athletics, UW-L Football, UW-L Academics, UW-L student-athletes, and him or
herself. Violation of NCAA, WIAC, and UW-L rules may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of
employment.

The individual should possess the skills and experiences necessary to serve as an offensive line coach on the UW-L football
coaching staff. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to evaluate opponents, design and implement
game plans, organize and conduct practices, work effectively as a member of a coaching staff, respond to game day
situations; and recruit potential student-athletes.

In addition to coaching, the position will require the individual to serve as an academic advisor for assigned students and to
contribute in three of the following five academic areas: (1) lead fitness activity classes; (2) teach future fitness professionals
how to lead groups; (3) Anatomy/Physiology of Exercise labs; (4) teach future Physical Education teachers activities and
methods; (5) strength training principles and skills to future professionals.

Both portions of the position will require some service (e.g., committee work).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Masters degree by beginning of Fall 2013 semester.
2. Formal academic training in Physical Education Teaching or Fitness Training. (Three years of full-time employment
in the fitness industry can substitute for academic training.)
3. Substantial experience coaching offensive football at the high school level or above.

Winona State - NSIC
Defensive Graduate Assistant

Winona State University, a Division II member of the NCAA and member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference is seeking applicants for an Defensive Graduate Assistant. This position will be responsible for coaching the OLBs. The responsibilities of this position will be (but not limited to) position meetings, film break down, recruiting, and all other duties deemed necessary as assigned by the head coach. Requirements for this position include a Bachelors Degree, collegiate playing experience (preferably on the defensive side), and the ability to apply for and be accepted to in the College of Educations Graduate Program.
