A crowd of current and former Northwest
Missouri State players stood on the sidelines, shouting at the Bearcats'
defense. Green-and-white-clad fans hopped up and down, causing the metal
bleachers on the visitors' side to shake.
This was the play of the day. Only a
minute remained in a wild NCAA Division II national championship game, and
the Bearcats - who led Grand Valley State by just seven - needed to stop
the Lakers on fourth and 15 to ensure a heartbreaking second-half collapse
