Offensive Player of the Week
Daniel Polk

Midwestern State

Daniel Polk ended his career with a bang in spite of Midwestern State falling to Abilene Christian.  In the 42-41 loss, Polk carried 28 times for 290 yards and three touchdowns.  In addition he was 14-22 through the air for 187 yards.  On the day, he accumulated 477 yards of total offense with three touchdowns.

Ferris State

Jake Visser was all over the field from the defensive tackle position in Ferris State's 17-13 win over Wayne State (MI).  Visser recorded 11 tackles, including 2.5 tackles for loss with a sack.  He also got credit for a quarterback hurry, recovered a fumble, and broke up a pass.

Cody Smith
Punter
Texas A&M-Kingsville

Texas A&M-Kingsville punter Cody Smith not only punted well, but converted two fakes in the Javelinas' 47-21 win over Angelo State.  Smith punted twice for a 49.5 average.  He also ran two fake punts for a total of 55 yards.  Both fakes resulted in first downs.
