Offensive Players of the Week
Marty Carter

Carter broke the Grand Valley single-game rushing record in a 51-24 win over Northern Michigan.  The sophomore running back gained 298 yards on only 20 carries, scoring three times in the win.  Carter averaged 14.9 yards per carry.

Pieruccini was equally explosive and efficient in a 45-12 Minnesota State win over St. Cloud State.  He threw for 282 yards and four touchdowns on 18-of-21 passing (85.7%).  He also added 109 yards on 16 rushes with a touchdown.

Barber tied the MEC record with three interceptions in a 35-28 win over Charleston.  He picked off two passes in the first quarter and his final in the fourth, to help preserve the 3-28 margin.

Johnson C. Smith

Lambrecht was a bright spot in a blowout loss to Division I FCS Wofford.  The Johnson C. Smith senior punted seven times with a 44.7 yard average.  He pinned Wofford inside its own 20-yard-line twice.
