2010 Pro Hopefuls Preview - D2 Loaded with
Offensive Talent
Courtesy JB Scouting
This year's preseason pro hopefuls list is the
shortest in the history of the list but has more potential and speed than any
group in the history.
With just six players in this year's early
group it might look like a weak class but standards for the list higher, thus
leaving worthy players off the list.
Leading this year's group is the lone defender
named to the list in IUP CB Akwasi Owusu-Ansah who was named a second team
All-America by D2football.com last year after picking off eight passes.
The highest rated offensive player is Abilene
Christian OT Tony Washington after earning first team All-America honors by
D2football.com and was named the Lone Star South Offensive Lineman of the Year.
Perhaps the most decorated player on the list
is three-time PSAC Player of the Year Edinboro QB Trevor Harris. Harris was
named the PSAC West Rookie of the Year in 2006 while earning second team All-PSAC
West honors and since then been named the PSAC West Offensive Player of the Year
each of the last two seasons.
