Creative Staff

Bob Eblen has been the national columnist since 2006.  He hopes to continue to use his passion for and knowledge of college athletics to entertain and inform the followers of Division II football.

Bob, his wife Deb and sons Sam and Noah live in Kansas City, MO. In his free time Bob enjoys spending time with family and friends and attending many different types of sporting events.


Kris Ferguson earned three business bachelor degrees and graduated from Winston-Salem State University in 2008. He works for a financial regulatory agency as a  capital markets specialist.

In addition to his business travels, he spends his spare time on exotic road trips throughout in the US and Canada, watching sports, exercising, modifying cars, and building his wine collection.




Tyler begins his first season writing for D2football.com after spending the past eight seasons as a member of the Athletics Communication office at Truman State, where he also earned his undergraduate degree.

He has won writing/design awards from the AVCA and has been following Div. II football for nearly 15 years. Tyler is employed in the education field and enjoys running and biking, as well as willingly suffering as a Chicago Cubs fan.


A 2001 public relations graduate of Central Washington, Jon Guddat has followed D2 football for nearly 15 years. He has covered college sports as the sports editor of two newspapers, a freelance writer, and as a host of a morning radio show. Jon also covers rodeo year round as a freelance columnist.

Jon works in the banking industry and enjoys all types of sports, recreation and being outdoors with his family.




Joe Price earned a Bachelors and Masters degree from West Texas A&M in 2008 and 2011. Joe currently is a Local Government Specialist for the Panhandle Regional Planning Commission and lives with his wife, Stephanie, in Amarillo, TX.

In his free time, Joe enjoys spending time with family and friends and attending many different types of sporting events in the Texas Panhandle.


After following DII Football for more than a decade, Ian began writing the MIAA blog roughly halfway through the 2015 season.

Ian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Northwest Missouri State in 2007. In his spare time, Ian enjoys spending time with his wife Emily, son Dreyton, and being active in sports, music, and advocating for Autism Awareness.


Ray Franze graduated from Shepherd University in 2005 with a B.S. in Political Science and a minor in journalism. While a full-time government employee, he is a freelance writer on the side-writing about passionate topics like aviation and football.

Aside from work and his passion for DII Football, his social exploits include aviation, golf, cheering on the Nationals and Redskins, and traveling with his family.


Paul Falewicz has covered high school football and basketball in the Massachusetts and New Hampshire for many years. His coverage has appeared in numerous local newspapers. He is a graduate of UMass-Lowell where he earned his bachelors and MBA.

He has coached basketball at Regis College since 2009. He lives in Billerica, MA with his wife and two children.



Chuck Bitner earned a degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University in 2001. He is employed in the banking industry and lives in Manheim, PA with his wife Alyssa and their five cats.  

In his spare time, Chuck enjoys traveling to football games, home remodeling, reading, sports photography and watching all forms of auto racing.


Brian Cotter grew up in Southeastern Colorado and has lived in Pueblo since 1989. He is a small business owner there and is active in several community service and fraternal organizations. He enjoys traveling with his wife Jeanie and their dog Tuff.

His interest in RMAC Athletics goes back many years with several family members attending RMAC schools.


 



 Staff

Brandon Misener is the creator of D2Football.com.  He has worked in the media since 1990 and has covered the three major sports at all levels. Brandon has served as the analyst for the Division II Selection show on ESPN and has written stories for the D2 Football Championship Program.

Brandon graduated from Northwest Missouri State in 1996 with a degree in broadcasting.
