Yup--whole team is already in the portal. Sad for that community and for the 111 full-time employees who will be impacted.

Along with the entire Urbana roster, Verbal Commits makes official what we all knew months ago--Boswell to Cal.

And the Frankland kid from NDC is heading to the West coast (nice player).

        • FYI: WLU may be receiving a couple of team plaques from the NCAA for this season:to add to their wall outside the coaches' offices.

          • So they did end up finishing #1 in scoring? I wasn't sure they'd be able to outgun Nova and/or Lincoln M.

Nova was the only other team over 100 (101.8 ppg.). Big gap after that. Florida Southern was third at 93.9. Lincoln Memorial finished 5th at 92.5

Nova also did it against an incredibly more difficult schedule. Per Masey, WL's SOS was No. 251. Crutch was No. 41.

But WLU did play Daemen in the non-conference schedule! ; )

Massey calculates SOS COMPLETELY differently than the NCAA! I've read the process of calculating it a number of times and I clearly am too dumb to comprehend it.

                        • Someone was hard up for statistics. Not sure what you do with this. Guess one could make the case that it creates a loud atmosphere and supports #1 home court advantage, but there are so many other factors in acoustics...

Good for a laugh at least.
                          Enjoy!

Is that true about Boro? They only have 500 seats in the place? And do they actually draw 479 a game? I thought they were one of those PSAC schools that was drawing, like, 179 a game.

                            Bizarre stat indeed.
