Break away off steal.. 3 point game and Gannon has struggled to score... just lay it up for the 5 pts lead. Nope! Go for a big dunk and miss it. 5-0 run by hurst, down 2. Webb also followed it up with 2 dumb turnovers that he got himself stuck in no.mans land or dribbled into 3 people.

There were always rumors that him and Coach Reilly often butted heads about his "play style"... all this season he has shown evidence those rumors were true.

    You gotta learn sometime man.
Yes that missed dunk was the turning point. Would have been a nice cushion going down the stretch. Mercy hurts immediately tied the game.

Could have stood to use a time out on the possession down 53-51. It looked doomed from the start.

Another woulda coulda shoulda loss. 12-10 is close to the worst possible record. Not having Tertsea killed our depth under the hoop.

Rock leads UPJ at half 42-37. Will Robinson Jr is in sweats. Knee must not be right after IUP game. UPJ was ice cold shooting about 27% with about 8 to go but they warmed up and ended half at 41% but SRU shooting 51%. Based on the eye test UPJ wins. They look like a much better team. One of the few games of the year where the home team has been called for more fouls. Kromka and wise a combined 3-15 from field.

Not to mention that when you get a physical game or simply bad officiating it can become a constant parade of players to the foul line in the last few minutes. From that aspect, I do like reverting to five fouls per quarter before the free throws start.
