Keep in mind Bobby Mo is a stepping stone. He can portal it again in a couple weeks. He may get a bigger bite.

Several have left there and landed in more prestigious leagues.

Yes you are 100% correct he had 14 active players.. played 10 consistently and had 4 bench scrubs. Bazzolli has 10 active. 9 play consistently and 1 bench scrub. You literally supported my statement

4th leading scorers is huge for him. I didnt see him getting any PT at D1.

Also think though.. if RMU gets to tourney.. Omajafo gets his name in there. That's what he's looking for.

          • Cal was up 9 at half and lost by 10.

Huge 19 point swing in final 20 mins.

Seemed like the zebra crew stuck it to Danny a bit in the second half.

              • A lot of teams need a Gannon win today ... to stay alive.

Shepherd winning (auto bid) will cause chaos.

That said, the Rams may have passed some of those teams anyway by this point.

I can't even remember the last time a PSAC champ got the auto-bid (that wasn't already a lock).

Did a little research.....maybe East Stroudsburg in 2012 will league record of 13-9 and overall 20-12. Pretty sure the 2001 Clarion team with a 7-5 league record and overall at 19-10 was on the bubble. To your point, it seems to have been a long time ago. (Note: Just went by the PSAC website and have no idea what the regional strength was in those particular years.)

Perhaps Mercyhurst in 2016? I wasn't following D2 at the time, but it appears they won the auto bid and got the 8 seed.

                    • One of my favorite college memories was in grad school when Edinboro won the PSAC and made the national tournament but barely missed hosting the regional. So they played IUP in the first round - at tiny Pfeiffer College in Meisenheimer, NC.

It was Spring Break that week at Edinboro and we were bored, so my best friend borrowed an SGA van and with maybe $50 each to our names we drove down to North Carolina, made it in time for the national anthem, watched Edinboro lose a heartbreaker in OT, took a power nap in the car, and drove back to Edinboro through a snowstorm in West Virginia. Round trip 26 hours.

That No. 8 seed Mercyhurst, if memory serves, then knocked off No. 1 seed Wheeling Jesuit.

The IUP ladies also infamously lost as the No. 1 seed in the regional.

That hasn't happened often on either side.

                        • It looks like the regional committee opted not to be very reactive to the conference tourneys. I thought Fairmont might be able to jump up to 4 and ESU and Bluefield might flip-flop the 7 and 8 with the Warriors early exit compared to Bluefield’s CCG appearance. I wonder if they kept those last two in their places to save on travel costs with WLU not getting punished for losing the MEC title game.

Gannon vs ESU is going to be very interesting. There are some hot heads on both sides. Pressing teams don't like to be pressed. It should be a fantastic game.

Nobody in the West could match up with Gannon athlete for athlete. ESU can. Gannon is the more disciplined team. ESU is prone to some real knucklehead technicals.

For the love of God have younger officials officiate this game. Those dinosaur crews won't be remotely able to keep up.

Shows how strong the Atlantic was that year. Hurst, IUP and ESU were all 21-8 and Hurst only got in cuz they won the tourney and went as the 8.
