Odd stat from the CAL- GU series history. In 31 games since '09 the VULCANS lead the series 16-15 and the average score for all games is 68-68. Should be fun !

When a club that plays like Gannon makes 3s at that rate and gets off to that kind of start, you get sucked into their game and it's hard to beat. The flip side is when they're not making 3s and giving the other team multiple opportunities to score. To Gannon's credit, they've been on a lot more than off this season and have survived several of the games where they've been off. Whether that will be enough when they get out of the region remains to be seen. That coach brought in some talent this year. They're not winning just because of the system; they have some very legit talent.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View PostMillersville is overwhelmed.

Wow. What a total garbage response...What's bask story? If you're gonna call someone out, at least get it right.Originally posted by IUPalum View Post
Another reason you shouldn't speak. You don't know any bask story on this board.

Vulcans picked a great spot to shoot 17% over their yearly average at the line. 18/20 will give any team a chance to win. But that game WILL NOT WIN on Sunday. It's going to be a long shot. Time will tell.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View PostVulcans survive. Very entertaining game.

Shoats only playing half the game was certainly a killer for LH. He had only himself to blame, picking up a technical and then an uncharacteristically dumb reaching foul for his fourth foul. LH is a high-quality team that very well could be sitting home for the regional this year.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View PostVulcans survive. Very entertaining game.

Cal major break with Whitehead not getting called for travel while sliding across court. Huge call.

I'm old school enough to have been irritated this season by the sight of players on the same team wearing three or four different colors of sneakers, some of which don't remotely coordinate with their uniforms, but that's the way it is . You'll often see D1 teams wearing uniforms that don't include the school colors.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View PostDo the Cal players all wear different warmup shirts as some sort of fashion statement? Very odd.
