The Rock is eliminated 73-68. Pratapas for Mercyhurst was their MVP. In what seemed like a 6 minute span when the Rock took the lead he came in and made 5-6 from the floor (4 threes) with his only miss resulting in a tip in bucket. Those 16 points were huge.

Baffling. Kid plays 8 minutes a game and makes shots from the parking lot. How do teams let him shoot?

West Chester coming off back-to-back losses drops the HAMMER tonight on Ship. Didn't see that (margin) coming.

Likely all she wrote for Ship unless Notre Dame chokes.

This is a HEAVYWEIGHT Final Four on Saturday.

              Mercyhurst vs. East Stroudsburg

              WCU vs. (at) IUP

No Cinderella appearances this year. The best four are booked.

In the Erie newspaper Mercyhurst coach Gary M. has a quote thanking his AD for letting the team stay over the night before last night's game. Said they wouldn't have played as well if they didn't.

Lol .. isn't Erie to SRU like an hour? Max? Maybe they just need a nicer bus.

With the distance to IUP he may want them down here today. Avoid the bus-lag.

Manchel is the biggest cry baby ever. Erie to Slippery Rock is an hour and minutes. Way to waste funds! Time for him to shut up and go home!

Yep. Be thankful to the AD in private. Putting that in print is just embarrassing. Or, that is one primmadonna team.

It's about an hour and 15 minutes. I saw that as well and thought it was hilarious -- Slippery Rock is the third closest PSAC school after the two in Erie County.

I believe that the Lakers left this morning for Indiana and will spend Thursday in Grove City, PA before heading to Indiana to spend Friday night.

For Gannon next year, will they make the drive to downtown Erie the night before and stay at the Avalon on 10th & State?

I was at lunch and had to read it twice. Made me laugh out loud.

In all fairness, how bad was the weather in Erie? Otherwise, yeah, that might be overkill.
