Someone take these polls and let's see how they turn out. Gannon will be interesting. They are nearly the same team that Brunelli had last year. Cleve wasn't exactly an overnight success in his first stint, but once he established his program, the Lady Knights had an unprecedented 7-year run of success. This is all to say that Gannon's sixth-place prediction is probably pretty accurate.

VULCANS have VUU at home on 11/13 which will be extra tough if JASPER is still out with whatever has her on crutches right now. Unlikely she'd be able to do much even if she got back. FR- HALLE HERRINGTON who got a good amount of time vs MD will probably be PG.

Well that makes sense. Going into his seventh season with an average record of 10-16 it only stands to reason that his breakout year will be 19-20 versus top two teams who have beaten his teams 23 of 24 times. Yep, I can see that.

He kinda has to say that, right? He can't give a quote to the student paper saying, "We'll be lucky to finish 5th this year, but do be sure to come out and see us at the Athletic Center!"

I don't know how far Shippensburg will go as a team, but this should be the first of two first-team All-America seasons for Ariel Jones. One of the softest shots I've ever seen and quicker than everyone else on the floor.

First Team? I hope she came a long way since last season. IUP demolished her last year. She's the best player on an average team but not sure about First Team AA. Maybe PSAC.

SRU got clobbered by Johnson C. Smith to start the season (by 24). He may want to hold off on any more public predictions.

Clearly, Quick Draw McGraw took public relations lessons from Doug Peterson. Not a good look for the Slippy Chicks to get El Kabonged by the fourth-best women's team in the CIAA (per the league's preseason poll).

Average team is generous. In her two years the team is 19-37. If SHIP gets to .500 and last to the second round of the conference tournament, she should get second team all conference. Individual accolades usually need to have some connection to team success.

Yeah ... so this quote isn't working out too well for old Bobby McGraw so far this season. The SRU ladies are 2-4 and got blown out twice at home this past weekend.
