Bloom 102, West Chester 89. I'd say the Rams are officially in freefall.

Gannon played extremely well on defense today against the Warriors. ESU missed too many opportunities at the rim, especially in the first half.

Ship now up four games on WCU, five on East Stroudsburg.

Cisero wouldn't have affected the outcome today because Tertsea would have gotten ample time after playing against ESUs big man a few times. May have been a bit higher scoring for Gannon if anything. The coaches challenged tertsea to "step up"... I'd say he did. Dodds too.

Pure implosion at West Chester. No other way to say it.

Pretty much exactly what is happening to VULCANS WBB. Both teams got off to fast starts and the illusion of strength was eventually exposed. In the case of the RAMS their opportunities at the FREE THROW LINE have dropped in half. First thirteen games they were on average 24-40. Last six games it's dropped to 16-21. They've lost those five games by an average of 8 pts. They were living at the line, now they're dying there.

Only two MEC scores from yesterday:

                            NDC 78. UU 63.
                            D&E 83. WVWC 76.

The MEC is using this first non-NFL-Sunday to hold its not-traveling-to-far-on-a-school-night, local-rivals Sunday slate. So tonight will feature a few games with some juice, notably: WVSU/Charleston and WLU/Wheeling.

The schedule is unfortunate for teams without a natural in-city rival. Concord has to come all the way to Glenville on a Sunday. And Fairmont has to go up to Frostburg.

I'll take Charleston to win a tight one. WL is going to hammer Wheeling -- with or without the Cardinals' missing players.
