If Pegram ever passed the ball ... Cal would be a much better team.

I doubt you'll see any more Ship victories accomplished with Biss and Castello going 4-for-22 between them.

Millersville came to play football, which really wasn't a bad strategy on their part, and succeeded in making it a chaotic game. That said, it was ridiculous they only five fouls at halftime given the physical way they were playing. It finally caught up to them in the second half, but it almost came too late for Ship. And the charging foul called on Biss in the second half might have been the single worst call I've seen this season and, believe me, that's saying something. You're driving to the basket, a guy is running alongside you and reaching in, and you get a charge? Ridiculous. Aside from that, the Raiders haven't shot the ball particularly well for five games now. If they don't break out of that Saturday, they'll be gone. Talley, who usually is the defensive stopper, actually saved them on offense in the second half. Castello and Nedrow need to stay out of foul trouble as well. They've had limited minutes in several games recently. God, the Millersville coach was putting on a show again. I don't know how he is away from the court, but he's a flaming jerk when he's on it.

He's a total jackass. That's the polite way of saying it.

Well, they've been the best four teams this season. Fitting that they're in the semis.

Very surprised that a second half run never came from West Chester last night. For the second time in less than a week, ESU got out to a big lead, but this time West Chester folded. Robbie Heath may be a great scorer, but his constant flopping all over the floor was ineffective. His takedown of ESU's Montrel Morgan in the second half should have earned him a technical foul. The kid needs to play the game the right way. Hopefully he'll grow up soon, but will he stay at West Chester?

Heath doesn't seem to like to play at the defensive end of the floor nearly as well as the offensive end, but he is certainly good for a freshman. West Chester at times seemed to be less than the sum of its parts this year. They have a couple of big guys who are imposing physical specimens, but they didn't play well at all in their game at Ship.

Heath stands in the corner on most offensive plays when he's not bringing the ball up court. He seemed disinterested in both games against ESU when the Rams got down by double digits. This year the Rams were set up to be Malik Jackson's team, but along came Heath, and he's now the darling of Damien Blair. Losing Ian Langendoerfer 2 games into the season changed their game plan a bit. You can't just lose a guy who is 6'6 and 215 pounds and expect to be the same team. We'll see what pieces Blair brings in next year, but will Heath stick around?!

Heath had good scoring numbers (PSAC leading 24.6 ppg) but he chucked some serious shots. He took 507 shots ... next closest (Malik Jackson) took 373. His shooting percentages aren't very good. Granted, he is a freshman.

After seeing he took 17 shots in the first half the other night at ESU, I was SHOCKED he only took 5 in the second half...
