I thought either Lincoln or San Bernie's would get the 3.
Lincoln Memorial is a scary team. They could give Crutch trouble on that side of the bracket.
Shades of that epic battle WLU had with Lincoln in the Elite 8 years ago--Bonifant went off for some ridiculous number, but Lincoln made a buzzer beater to win a game in which over 200 points were scored between the teams.

They start four seniors and one junior and they play most of the minutes. They only really go 7-8 deep and the subs don’t play much, but they’ve had to play a little more since one of the starting guards is out with an injury. Quashawn Lane and Ty Perry both average 15 a game to lead the team. Davontrey Thomas averages 13 a game. They’re not really tall although their center is 7’1” (mostly a defense/rebound guy who blocks a lot of shots). There are two D1 transfers (Perry and the center, Majak) in the starting lineup.
New Haven is a defensive team, giving up 61 a game on 39% shooting. They score 68 a game. They want to lean on their defense and play a slow tempo to protect their starters and keep games close. They remind me of St. Mary’s or Penn State in D1. New Haven wants to grind out every possession with essentially a 4-guard lineup. So, pretty much the polar opposite of WL.

I have not seen another team run a full game full court press with high efficient offense and a winning culture other than us and Nova. It’s very hard to do and implement and get the buy in. Obviously it’s not perfect as we haven’t gotten over the national championship hump. On paper WL should be very disadvantaged with our location and school size but we have overcome it thanks to Crutch and Howlett and that system/culture. Crutch has significantly better resources/location down at Nova which may finally get him over the hump. Would love to see that final
