It's a big matchup! Thoughts?! I'm interested to see the team Joe Lombardi has put around Ethan Porterfield. Should be fun!!!

I'm not a big IUP BB fan but I follow the team and watch some of the games. I took a look at the online Indiana Gazette this morning and it says IUP lost 2 key starters over the break, 1 to a torn ACL and 1 to academic ineligibility. Should be interesting Saturday at ESU.

Did it say which two? Did it give any indication who from the redshirt squad will be moving up?

I see one of them is Dillard. That's a huge loss.

Dillard has a torn ACL and it said he's out for the season. The transfer from Akron (Clarke) is ineligible for the 2nd semester although there is a quote from Lombardi that they were going to try to work with the NCAA on it. Hmmm. They are bringing back a former player, Bryce Radford, who wasn't in school. Lombardi said Radford would start at shooting guard.

The Clarke comments from Joe make it seem like a paperwork 'difference of opinion' with the NCAA. I've seen these play both ways with the NCAA going oh, OK...that clears it up ORR...Nice try...He can play NEXT year. Bring in a retread who presumably was bounced and making them an actual starter doesn't bode well on a number of levels...either no one on the current playing roster capable of stepping up AND no one on the redshirt roster they are willing to "burn" this year on. It would be one thing bring him in as bench depth, but a starter???

Man, 2 of the big 3 gone just like that. Santa didn’t just leave us a lump of coal, he dumped a couple truckloads on us.

IUP will lose by 25+ tomorrow. Season is toast.

Lose your top 2 guards means IUP is doomed! This season was already suspect but now…

I really question a player being academically ineligible at this level. There is a lot of one on one support and should never happen!

They were struggling to beat bums with Dallis and Clarke.

Without them, it's going to be pretty rough. Joe is going to take some serious beatings.

Radford was going to play 10-12 minutes per game. Two stars now gone means he's going to start.

It doesn't really matter at this point. They won't win many games.

He has two redshirts left. One is a guard (Denzel) and the other is a forward (Romero-Sanz). I highly doubt he burns either. Joe's not dumb. He knows what's coming with or without burning those redshirts.

This team had three scorers and two of them are now gone (who are also their two best defenders by far).

I suspect today will be the first of many blowout losses.

IUP had to replace two PSAC West 1st teamers. Sulaiman xferred out. That's a tough act to follow for any team...

They have to do it again now. Dillard and Clarke would have both likely been all-league players this year.

ESU will destroy what's left of them today.

This F-in jackass can’t even get the players right for IUP!
