Unrelated, my wife had a work thing at Cal recently. There is nowhere in town to get coffee, grab a lunch, get gas, etc. No Sheetz. No local coffee shop. No convenience store. It's astonishing that even when Cal had 10k students it remained a dirty, sleepy village.
Totally foreseeable. Rumor was he was coming back, but the fact that he never returned from Buffalo after his surgery (even to sit on the bench and be with the guys) seemed to tell the tale.

I suspect he hangs it up.
Along the same lines, I think Shull will end up back in the PSAC. I've heard Seton Hill may be the spot.
No way this guy should have more eligibility! He's got to be like 26.
Didn't play a single minute this year. So if had eligibility going into this year, he still has it. Not sure how many medical redshirts he's used. But, yes, he's probably on the older end at this point and as BigIndians said above he may actually be a step away from simply hanging it up.
I used to follow recruiting in the Twitter world for news.
As the years have gone by I follow it now solely for entertainment.
For example, the "1,000 percent committed" group always makes me laugh. They are always from a guy on his third program in 12 months. But, this time, he's all in.
A new trend is the D2 entrant who averaged 4.8 PPG on a crap team who all the sudden is looking for D1 opportunities.
The 'Praise God' and 'God is great' guys are some of my favorite. Scroll down a couple Tweets and they are dropping every vulgarity known to man and sharing 'interesting' photos, etc. I don't think the Big Guy would appreciate.
I love the Tweets from two weeks ago talking about brotherhood and family and all the other b.s. Less than 24 hours after the final horn they are making their portal declaration.
What we are seeing happen at California - from a D2 perspective - is just sickening. Danny could have been stacked next year. Now he's rebuilding 75 percent of his roster.
IUP better cash in next year. This is going to happen there, too. Joe has some young stars. My guess is he'll have them one more year.

So what do you think is going on there? It’s not like they weren’t winning, and doing it without a couple of their best players available. The ceiling was high before this. Seems to me the issues are deeper than what’s happening on the court.
