If SH doesn't slow the pace they are going to get blown out.

Seton Hill flipped the script and won in 2 OT.

      Tomorrow:

      5 p.m.
      Gannon vs Winston-Salem

      7:30 p.m.
      Seton Hill at IUP

Big day for the PSAC West

Not only did Seton Hill have to play a double overtime game that didn’t finish until almost 10 p.m., they’ll be without a key starter with Hailee Ford going down with a knee injury in the final seconds of the game. What terrible luck for that kid. It was the dreaded non-contact type too.

This is a game IUP should win anyway, but that’s an awful lot for Seton Hill to overcome. Fayetteville State did everything they could to throw that one away and they eventually go their wish.

Gannon will probably drop to #8 in the nation with that loss.

          Awful showing by them today.

Kudos to Seton Hill, they played their butts off tonight.

They still release rankings at this point? If so, they'd drop further than that because they were 7th and everyone below them won.

I can promise you the other team had an awful lot to do with that awful showing.

IUP better be ready to roll. Winston-Salem is no joke.

After watching WSSU, I think they are bigger, faster and stronger than IUP. IUP better play ball and Carey better not hand out participation trophies tomorrow.

They may be the fastest 1-5 women's team I've seen in 30-some years.

Now, fastest doesn't mean the best. But, they sure create a lot of havoc.

IUP was horrendous defensively tonight. They couldn't guard the trey and, frankly, were a bit lazy getting back on D. If they do that Monday, they will get run out of the building (much like Gannon did). W-S is 100x faster than Seton Hill.

They release one season ending rankings yes. But I was being sarcastic as I have felt Gannon has been overrated all year.

Winston Salem is quick and athletic but I think IUP can play with them, unlike Gannon. Weaver has to stay out of foul trouble though.

Winston Salem is all about chaos. They’re fast, but can also get a little too chaotic and hurt themselves. They’re susceptible to long dry spells offensively. When that happens, IUP has to score. If there’s a team in the field that can beat them, it’s IUP with their experience and athleticism. That was a bad matchup for Gannon for sure. By Monday, Winston Salem will have been away from home since sometime on Thursday. That also takes its toll. They lost badly to Fayetteville State earlier this year and more recently to Livingstone. I know it’s a short turnaround but those are tapes I’d want to watch if I’m Craig.

Saying all that, WSSU looks like the best team IUP will have seen to this point. I mentioned going in they were a great unknown because they didn’t play any PSAC opponents. Their average margin of victory is 15.2, and IUP’s is 20.6. These teams are used to blowout wins so it will be interesting to see who handles what could be an evenly matched brawl better.
