Sure looks like its Joe building the program for the long haul beyond his tenure instead of buying mercenaries to go for Gannon's throat. Lots of upside with what they're bringing in and reminds me of what Jennings is trying to do at Edinboro. Wishful thinking says its coaches rebelling against the collect transfers or die strategy.

Well, if that's the plan I sure hope they have an NIL in process. If not, they won't have these guys more than a season or two.

Saw an article earlier in MSN or some search site that titled "New Recruiting Process for Colleges: Find "The Guy", Sign His Teammate"

Skimmed through and basically it said because of NIL and transfer portal... coaches should not be looking at "the guy" kind of players and should recruit the hard-nosed, all-around guys. Get kids that together could be good, but on their own not much. Sad, but realistic.

Probably not well. He averaged 14 min and 5 points a game in JUCO. Why didn't he play more? Why didn't he shoot more than 10 feet away? About all I see from this kid is a rim protector and rebounder.
