Re: 2017-18 MIAA Thread
Still not sure how Pitt State will stack up against MIAA competition, but the Gorillas are obviously drastically improved. 4-1 after last night's win over Newman and they only won five games all of last year.
Their lone loss is a 104-95 setback to undefeated Arkansas-Fort Smith in a game that saw the Gorillas stumble out of halftime and fall behind by 29 points with 14:29 to play. Pitt State had the deficit down to single digits less than 10 minutes later and had a chance to push closer.
Haven't seen them play in person yet, but I'm glad they'll likely at least be competitive this year.

Re: 2017-18 MIAA Thread
NW isn't very good defensively, well not usual NW good. That's the difference. No worries offensively. Ben has a team this year that is more dangerous offensively than he's had, but they probably won't be as good defensively. This will challenge him this season.Go Hounds!

Say what you want, but those that have been around the MIAA for some time know Pitt will be more than just a football school with KA at the helm.
