The main reason for that may be that former SCSU assistant Mahmoud Abdelfattah(the person who recruited him to SCSU) is an assistant with them.
Hope he gets that big opportunity!

Best of luck to him then! I thought the NBA would be a long shot, so I was surprised to see him posting about the Bucks. Even if it's just a G-League thing, that's still pretty impressive.

I saw he signed with a pro-team in Germany recently - within the last week or so. Congratulations to him!

Not been much Huskie wise to talk about.
Yes, in my second life as a sports official, one of the sports I officiate is baseball(I did 108 games this year, 16 high school, 6 legion, and 86 mens games) and in MN men's "town ball" is really big. My name was given to Eric Gislason for a documentary he was doing last summer. I wasn't sure which episode I was going to be on and frankly not sure how much of it I was going to be in. Face for radio you know. :) So yes, if you go to FSN and watch for episode #5 of Town Ball, Uniquely Minnesota, you'll see my ugly mug during that episode.

Here is the link you can use to go to the website for the program.
I even had a team from Brookings this yea. They lost. :)

              • St Cloud was listed as the 4th most romantic city in the US. Take your date to a SCSU game!

Better build more hotels for all the tourists that will be flocking to St. Cloud.

                  • Seeing this thread pop back up, I assumed this was the prerequisite "St. Cloud has been picked preseason top 10 by the Sporting News this year..." post.

                    • Former SCSU Husky Mike Rostampour is playing for Iran in the World Cup. Hopefully Simple gets an Iranaholic shirt out of the deal.

Going from D2 assistant to GLeague HC in twoish years is astounding

                              • Here's a big interview with Gage Davis from Eurobasket. Unfortunately, he was let go from his Germany team but earned a tryout with the Windy City Bulls of the G-League. Best of luck to him.
