This past weekend in St. Cloud was alumni weekend and on Saturday they honored the 1986-88 NCC Triple Crown winners. For those of you who never went to Halenbeck in those days and only go now, you will not recognize it.

Congratulations on the Huskies great start. Love the old school shorts in the video, there coming back you know! I sure remember Butch pacing up and down at games in the Elmen Center.

105 to 75 with no three point line. The good old days when people could do math by hand, kids could make change and a night of basketball was something for the locals to look forward to.

Look at the packed house. Now at both SCSU and MSU the "crowds" are sparse. The emphasis now is on hockey. Too many other things too- it isn't the even that it was. I miss that.

Well apparently they start interviews this week for the head coaching position. I'm hearing that they had about 85 applicants. Zoom interviews for now and then narrowed down for on campus visits.

The only name I know of is one of the guards from the 2010 Final 4 team. He has worked as an assistant in this league, worked at some Div. 1 schools and went to a Jr. College in Iowa and has won a National title and a 3rd place finish in his 2 years there.
There could be 2 ex-Huskie teammates getting HC jobs in the NSIC this year if both he and Bergstrasser are hired.
