Some fun early stats in Washburn-Kato:
-Krieger has 11pts on 4-5FG, Kirksey has 15 on 7-12FG, the rest of the Mavs have 15pts on 5-27FG
-Former USF Cougar Drew Maschoff is living large for the Bods with 14pts on 5-8FG

My fear for Mankato was who else can score besides Krieger and Kirksey so this game did nothing to quell those concerns. Obviously Baumgardner will shoot better and Holt/Seales will improve as the season goes on but still. Kelby Kramer could be an instant DPOY candidate based on this one game.

I've found some good news for NSIC fans, there is a sliver of hope today. Mary is about to take down Central Oklahoma in OT and Crookston is up 18-12 on NW Missouri halfway through the first half. WINGS UP!
at Kansas City. Southern led by 33 with six minutes to go and emptied the bench. Cam finishes with 32 and 12. Kinzer Lambert added 24 and 12 for the Lions.
Yikes, the first half of the Saul era was a tough one. 1-12 from deep and the Wolves look lost on defense. SE OK is good but the Wolves were pretty bad in the first half.
Cleary picks up his third foul with 7 minutes left in the first half, sits for the next 6:30, and then checks back in for the final offensive possession. Naturally Crookston leads NW Mo 26-25 at half.
