Wolves have been rolling along and really found a mix that works. I've been long calling for the offense to run through Wadsworth more and lately it has and she has shown how great she can be. Interesting weekend coming up. The wolves only have a losing record against two NSIC school (impressive) Wayne by about eight game difference and Augie (24-25 in the series)

Hoping both programs can keep things going.

Mavs got up early- were up by 20- Wildcats cut it to 8 but that was it. Mavs have played well at home. Now tomorrow is the traditional exciting game with Augie.

Huge win in Sioux Falls for the Warrior women. Lucky to get out of there at the end. Terrible execution by the Warriors and good effort from USF almost allowed the Cougars to steal it away. But, a huge W for the lady Warriors!

Mav women win in a back and forth contest with Augie. New Ulm freshman Joey Batt was the difference by hitting the last shot on a drive- all night long she weaved her way through the Augie press.

Very exciting game tonight vs. Augustana. Batt had a great game, and that drive by her with a few seconds left to score and overcome the one-point deficit was amazing by the freshman. The entire team played aggressively and executed well when the game was on the line.

Just for the Augie fans, who don't spend a lot of time on the women's thread but might be interested in this. The 2009 national championship team among others was honored last night- Heather Johnson was there. I didn't get a chance to talk to her this time, but I did last year. I was going to ask her what gave her the idea to hand out cupcakes to the Augiholics when MSU played out in Elman. Also, if she had thought about putting ExLax in them. But that would not have been her.

For those who didn't know, she was also an outstanding softball pitcher and had many offers from schools to do that. Glad that she picked MSU for hoops.

It was great to see and talk to some of the former Mav players last night. The 2009 national championship team was truly unique and amazing.

Tough loss for the Coo last night, but a pretty good game. Refs were calling everything early and often and really slowed down the game. WSU got to the line more but more importantly seemed to have an answer every time USF would cut into their lead. Well done.

Just a 1 game lead in the South now. A visit to former Traphagen Assistant Chelsea DeVille up in Bemidji awaits on Friday.

I think it should be required to post her picture when her name is mentioned.

That could be a "Trap" game for USF:).

The master defeats the padawan.... 73-64 Cougars win.

USF held a 17 point lead at the half but BSU cut it to 4 by the end of the 3rd.
