No matter who replaced Kelly Boe we knew it would be impossible for the new coach not to get cold in Kelly's shadow.

Per the school's release Joey left for a "new coaching opportunity." Which would be amazing considering his career HC record of 64-114. Dave Boots leaving USD right before the season started is how Joey got to call himself a D1 HC so props to Joey for keeping the circle of life going.

Apparently he has taken a position at Florida Tech(Div. 2) as an assistant. Must have thought he was about to get run out of Concordia.
