Got to my first BSU game tonight. Thought this would be a toss-up and it was. BSU wins 85-76. The game was closer than the final score implies. The Beavers are still without Ja Morgan (perhaps our best player) and Jacob Hoffman and managed to rotate 6 guys (actually 7 if you count the sub who played 2 minutes). Cleary is really good offensively (we held him to 44). He played his usual 40 minutes with just one TO. Cleary can get about anywhere he wants to go against most anyone (and yes, BSU is not blessed with containment quickness, but he had his way almost every time). Our guys worked at it though. BSU's bigs were 8-13 from the 3-point line and those guys stopped much of bleeding during the UMC runs. The BSU bigs also got it done inside too. UMC is probably not one of the NSIC's better defensive teams, however. We had all 6 players in double figures, 4 of which had 4 fouls each so glad it wasn't an OT game. Actually, I am pleasantly surprised we are 4-2 in the NSIC so far and that's not a dig. The guys are looking good! Congrats Beavers! http://www.bsubeavers.com/mbasketbal...2019/#boxscore
