Hmm...nope on both accounts. The 3 - 6 game was a blowout for Mo So over NSU. #7 seed both lost to the 10 seed in the opening round.

I've never understood why coaches don't clear the bench in a game that has been decided early- and that goes both ways. I watched a high school tournament game the other night. Winning coach didn't sub until about 30 seconds to play. Of course, he has had a long reputation for running up the score which is probably why he has a bad reputation. Get your starters off the floor to avoid injury, get an ovation from your fans, and let the reserves get a chance. Like you said, save it for the next game- you may need the rest.

As an over thinker maybe that is exactly why I like it. I think the setup makes perfect, logical sense.

NW is obviously really good but MW's 2-3 defense was really poor in the 2nd half. Open dudez for dayz all over the court. A clinic. Zero adjustments from MW.

First you have to hope NW is having an off shooting night. I'd deny Hudgins the ball the entire length of the floor. Shorten the shot clock. And then run the clock down on offense as well. You want as few of possessions as possible.

Wow...after allowing 9 straight points to MW to start the game NW outscored them 80-45...I was nervous as heck at 0-9 MW but at 10-9 NW my wife said NW would win
