No major surprises. Thought Sunny had a chance at COTY, but hard to argue with the McCollum juggernaut.

Here are my thoughts on things:

    Men: http://themiaa.com/news/2020/3/3/mia...rds-teams.aspx

    2020 MIAA Postseason Awards2020 MIAA All-Defensive Team
Missouri Southern - Braelon Walker, Senior (good selection)
Northeastern State - Josh Ihek, Senior (Aaron Givens would be a better selection from northeastern state)
Northwest Missouri - Diego Bernard, Sophomore (unquestionably the 2nd best defender in the league behind Hawkins)
Northwest Missouri - Ryan Hawkins, Junior (best defender in the conference)
Rogers State - Tavian Davis, Senior (good selection)

    2020 All-MIAA First-Team
Cam Martin - Missouri Southern, Junior (no doubt)
Tyrell Carroll - Missouri Western, Sophomore (no doubt as he is the engineer of mwsu success on the floor)
Ryan Hawkins - Northwest Missouri, Junior (duh)
Trevor Hudgins - Northwest Missouri, Sophomore (duh)
Tyler Geiman - Washburn, Junior (I would have Smith from Northeastern here & Geiman on 2nd team)

    2020 All-MIAA Second-Team
Kinzer Lambert - Missouri Southern, Senior (Davis from Rogers here as he is their unquestioned leader & makes everything go)(Lambert as honorable mention)
Morgan Soucie - Nebraska Kearney, Senior (no complaint)
Caleb Smith - Northeastern State, Senior (Geiman from Washburn here)
Kendrick Thompson - Northeastern State, Senior (has to be)
Marques Sumner - Rogers State, Senior (Bernard from Northwest here) (sumner ends up as honorable mention)

    2020 All-MIAA Third-Team
Jared Vitztum - Fort Hays State, Junior (makes sense)
Elyjah Clark - Missouri Southern, Senior (makes sense)
Marshawn Blackmon - Newman, Senior (no complaint)
Diego Bernard - Northwest Missouri, Sophomore (Welty here)
Tavian Davis - Rogers State, Senior (Millhollin from mwsu here)

    2020 All-MIAA Honorable Mention
Central Oklahoma - Cam Givens - Sophomore
Emporia State - Brenden Van Dyke - Junior
Lincoln - Jonell Burton - Senior
Missouri Western - Will Eames - Freshman, Tyus Millhollin - Senior
Nebraska Kearney - AJ Jackson - Senior, Kyle Juhl - Senior
Northwest Missouri - Ryan Welty - Senior
Pittsburg State - AJ Walker - Senior
Rogers State - Chris Miller - Senior, Brewster Peacock - Junior
Washburn - Jonny Clausing - Sophomore

my only complaint on missing honorable mentions that I can think of right now is how is Jalen Lewis from Washburn & Jah-Kobe Womack from Pitt not honorable mention

Ichabod Hater-your name tells everyone that you are not objective. Geiman was the only guy in the MIAA that was in the top 15 in pts, rebounds and assists. You do not have a clue. Geiman has beat you the last two years and absolutely deserves 1st team. When he went head to head against Smith at NSU he won that bsttle.

As to what ichabodhater has to say about the women, I sure thought that Megan Skaggs was the best player on the Jennies this season.

Got it Ichabod Hater. We will have to just agree to disagree. By the way Geiman had 18, 7 and 6 assists against you guys. I agree with you on Lewis. He had a lot of good games and deserved Honorable Mention. As far as Caleb Smith goes, he is deserving to. He averaged 16pts, 5 rebounds and 2 assists and is a very gifted scorer.

I too was perplexed how the league's leading scorer in Gegg was 3rd team.

Makes no sense. I would have switched her and DaMitz.
