Wolves had a nice 20 point cushion until we put in the deepest part of our bench which included some football guys.

Wolves get a 10-point victory but was never really that close.

Parker leads the way with something like 31 points, eight rebounds, four assistants, four blocks and was 10-12 from the FT line.

Overall,, was thrilled to see how controlled and focused they looked in the time I watched.

Northern looked very good against an overmatched Minot squad. If the Wolves continue to play like that they will be pretty tough to beat. It also shows just how weak the North really is outside of NSU and Moorhead.

Meh, we'll see. Wayne is winning the South and we swept them to start the season. Not being over confident but Wayne's losses in the south have all been very close. That and the North vs. South h2h this year wasn't all that dominating. But, it's all we have as a measuring stick. Conference tourney will be no gimme.

Moorhead struggled in first half...as expected after three weeks off. Better second half, especially on defense, to pull away for 10 point win at home against Mary. I expect Moorhead to win again tomorrow setting up fun matchup next weekend in Aberdeen. McGhee continues to be rock solid on offfense. Irsfeld knocked down shots. Baumgartner with solid effort. Sevlie with some big shots in second half. Just a very unselfish team. Hoping for another win tomorrow.

Jamal Nixon struggling hard today. Mavs are looking terrible, turning the ball over without pressure and missing easy shots.
                  49-36 Upper Iowa at half

Moorhead comes out scotching in first half. Baumgartner with six threes in first 8 minutes. Up 20 at half.

I question the Mavs approach on D. UIU has no one that can penetrate with Williams out. Why help and leave shooters open?

Peacocks with a huge sweep this weekend! 94-87 W over Mankato. UIU controlled the game from about mid first half until the end. Great weekend!!!

Extremely puzzling first 5 minutes for USF. Playing two guys who didn't play last night and no Jack Thompson yet.

Looks like BSU is on their way to a split this weekend. After a convincing 96-77 thumping on the Bulldogs last night, Duluth is returning the favor with a 50-31 half-time lead. BSU's Thompson with only 2 points.

UPDATE: 62-38 Bulldogs at the 14:45 mark.
