    What does this even mean?

"Under consideration"? This is a joke. No one else can be under consideration now? Or some could fall out and others could jump in?

The disparity of information they mention isn't going to get any better so go ahead and just rank them.

Why not drop the redundant In Region column this year?

Does this mean should a team not mentioned here win a conference tourney, that they will not make the list?

There are still automatic qualifiers for the NSIC and MIAA tourney winners.

If I had to hypothesize a guess at how the teams currently stand:

                1.) NW Mo
                2.) Washburn
                3.) Moorhead
                4.) Wayne
                5.) Upper Iowa
                ?????6.) Augie
                7.) MoSo

Any guesses as to what changes now? On the NSIC side, literally every team in these rankings won one and lost one.

Rankings can lead to hurt feelings and disappointment...we much prefer our consideration list. Since last week was alphabetical I would assume this week will be reverse alphabetical.

At the end of the week, Northern will be in the regional regardless of what they do in the NSIC tourney.

Moorhead's position is pretty strong, but they probably want to win one game in the tourney just to make it rock solid. A loss to Mankato in round 1 might cause some doubts, and could put them at risk if we get an unexpected outcome in the tournament (for instance, a Minot St championship and auto-bid).

For everyone in the NSIC South, I think two wins in the tourney are needed to secure a spot, and even that may not be enough in some cases.
