Know things didn't end well for him at Winona State, but he had an incredible run. Really seemed to spiral after all the success. Anyhow - sad on how his career ended and now this.

I had no idea that he was only 58.

I watched many a battle between Winona and their opponents when he was coaching.

Wow! As much as I was perturbed at the way he imploded at the end of his tenure I am very sorry to see this. His teams brought us a lot of thrills for which I will always be grateful. Would not be surprised to learn of a back story of some kind here.

Sorry to learn of the untimely demise of Coach Leaf.
