Geiman played last night. He played 32 minutes but is prolly 70%. We lost a tough one in OT to a talented UCO team. He was not himself but he did a great job of playmaking but was not able to score like he normally does. Nelson will be back next week and Clausing will be approved medically around Christmas so he will be back in Jan. We looked better and having Geiman back and surrounding him with shooters makes us a much better team. We are getting there but we are not there yet.

I did watch last night... Geiman is the engine that makes that thing go. He did look a little rusty as far as getting his own and I thought I could still see him limping a little every once in a while, but he's a great player. Lewis was fantastic last night and Keegan really looks like a nice piece when you get everyone back. You just have to hope you don't get too far buried in the region while you wait to be full strength again. You're right about UCO... they've got some really athletic guys, and were lights out in the first half. Givens was unstoppable. The Bronchos are going to beat some people this year.

The announcer was making me laugh... probably because I didn't have a dog in the fight. There was no hiding which team the guy was pulling for! He was all over "Mr. White haired official"... the "old gentleman" that loved calling "horrible offensive fouls". I don't know that I've ever watched a broadcast that specifically kept calling a guy out like that.... like 3 or 4 times! lol

If neccessary, the MIAA will apply its Weighted Index Formula to adjust the men's basketball standings in the final weeks leading up to the 2021 MIAA Basketball Tournament.

Only game I got to see this week was FHSU vs UNK, it was all FHSU. I really hope UNK just had a rough night, they have a history of being a decent team but last night was not good. Coach Lofton has been there a while I hope they can get it going.

That was probably a case of Western playing down to the opponent. Lincoln does not look good and hasn't beaten a D2 opponent all season. The Mules had little trouble with the Blue Tigers and the Mules haven't beaten a D2 team with a winning record.

I think the MIAA will have several teams with quite a few losses and a few top teams. A lot of weak teams from what I've seen vs the gac conference. And the fact that early wins by some teams were against inferior competition.

UCO handed FHSU it's first loss, UCO was shooting very well, FHSU didn't shoot well.

                  Should be a fun January!!

Newman was a good game to allow Dreamer to hopefully get healthy but killed the SOS for NW. Lincoln will be an even bigger negative impact on SOS. Hopefully NW ends on a good run to get to the top of the league and be in position to host Regionals.
