Keep in mind, they're currently hiring a head coach. It's possible some will leave depending on the hire.

I think that a majority of them are hoping that the assistant, Tim Bergstrasser gets the job and there won't be much movement. The problem that they run into if they decide to transfer now is that they needed to be in the transfer portal yesterday if they wanted to be eligible immediately next year.

Gastner has been caught in difficult spot since Msum has been so deep the past couple years. He is a solid player that can play/defend multiple positions. He would have got some minutes on many other nsic teams last year. He cannot be pushed around as he is very strong. Sounds like a couple other Msum guys are foregoing their last year to move on with life as well.

Now, this isn't fact, but I have heard that he didn't have any intention on playing next year and so this is basically a "let's see who reaches out". Again, doesn't mean that is the case, maybe he decided on more school but just what I've heard/believe.
