I was only considering those from Minnesota - but that is interesting.

For all of my Southwest Mustang friends- here is a local BLHS Mustang that has signed with you. I spotted her when I subbed there for PE when she was in 2nd grade. Very smart, highly quality person- can jump out of the gym. She did miss last year due to knee surgery and had some shoulder problems so I'll be looking forward to see how she does in her senior year. I talked to her on Halloween when I was donating blood at the high school in Hector.

Ok. The fellas better come back from Oklahoma 2-0 Bigler can just stay down there !

In all seriousness, I wish I could go down there. would be a fun road trip.

Really curious to see redshirt Majouk Majok -- 6'10" going to be a unique player in this league and matchup problem if he puts it together.

Him and Jake both! I don't know how many games we'll win, but this should be a fun group to watch develop.

Early surprise: True freshman Mason Lund (Sartell) with a nice role in the rotation. After scoring 11 points in his debut last night off the bench, puts up 12 points and 7 rebounds today.

Looks like we're going with an 8-man rotation right now.
Starters: Schwartz, Omot, McCray, Costello, Phipps
Off the bench: Majouk, Braaten, Lund

Bigs emptied the bench today, subbing in Hillesheim, Mosley, Benson, Layman and Zinniel for the last few minutes of the 20-point win.

First 2-0 start since 2016-17 (the regional final year)

Losing to Truman State like they did is virtually impossible,

They literally dominated the game for 32 minutes and then did nothing for the last 8. It was truly a sight to see. Hard to believe it even though I witnessed it. Amazing.

to their credit, they got a nice win over USF and bounced back.

The 3 freshmen playing have some good things going. we'll see.

I will say this. They play hard. They really do.

I'm not sure the last time a true freshman had this big of an early impact at Southwest. Didn't see that coming...

                  Mason Lund:
                  MPG: 25.8 (4th on team)
                  PPG: 10.8 (3rd)
                  RPG: 4.6 (t-2nd)
                  FG%: .559, 19-34 (3rd)
                  3FG%: .444, 8-18 (2nd)

Thoughts heading in to tonight? Likely the only game I'll be able to see in Marshall this year - unless I pick one up towards the end of the season.

Would be nice - looks like we haven't in close to four years, so here's hoping!

It's a matchup I go out of my way to see. Two very talented programs, usually.

Tonight is your best opportunity with only 2 experienced returning players.

Quite the first half in Tigerville.

That Majouk put back dunk was absurd
