Latest news says that Winona State has arrived in KC! Fresh after the short bus ride, they are readying for the Gorillas tomorrow.
        Should be some good basketball!!

For some reason, three Oklahoma teams were scheduled to travel to North Dakota for a challenge at Mary... blizzard canceled that. I don't understand why the Oklahoma teams can't play down here, but it doesn't look like they will.

Play has started in KC. At the half, St. Cloud 25, Southern Naz 48. SN shooting very well and looking good for early season play.

Southern Nazarene looking the part today for a highly ranked Central Region school. 35 point win over St Cloud State to open the weekend event.

Darn shame SNU didn't get a better draw this weekend. Would have been nice to see against some higher competition.

MSSU vs MN State 36-38 at half.
Taggert for Southern shows good touch for a bid shouldered brute.

Minnesota State pulls away in the second half, building a 20-point lead behind some hot shooting. Statistically, the primary difference seems to be 52% from the field versus 36.

Very nice showing by the Mavericks, and a game that should help Southern figure out a little more who they are and better prepare them for the gruel of the MIAA season.

Augie up 40-36 at half. 10 points from Fink, 9 from Miller, and 8 from Zac Johnson. Jadan Graves with 6pts, 4ast, and 3 steals. This would be a nice one to get with Washburn looming tomorrow.

Would have liked to see them play Washburn or Mankato.
