        Yes, makes complete sense that Point Loma is ranked and not NSU....more reasoning why regional polls are all that matters

            I did notice 3 loss Point Loma ahead of 3 loss NSU too, but they are the best team out west so they get those votes. National rankings could almost be labeled "National Standings" as that is what they often turn into. Even the D2SIDA regional poll can do that as well, but at least the voters have some familiarity with the teams. As we had the discussion on the football side, doing a national ranking is a lot tougher than you would think and basketball has way more teams than football.

              I know, that's why I've always said all they are good for is promoting your team being ranked or beating a team that happened to have a rank. Other than that they are as meaningless as preseason polls.
