If memory serves me NW also lost their good big man whose name escapes me early in the regional final vs UCM the year UCM won it all.

Good showing tonight against Rogers State. 2-0 without Dreamer. Next man up… got good minutes from Moala tonight, along with Alexander and Ratigan. I feel bad for mentioning Alexander’s MIAA FT shooting rank a week or so ago… he’s missed 9 of them in the last 2 games! My bad… maybe admitting my mistake will reverse it.
Anyone else here ever think that if Rich Wright got his hands on Byron, he could turn him into a hell of a defensive end?

Crazy stat…NW shot 73.9% on FG(school record) but only 50% on 3PT/FT. BA foul shots were more conventional ones tonight for some reason( ‘arched’ rather than his normal ‘line drive’)and he was 0-5. Not sure why he changed.
There are 2 chances Wes will be back
He just made the cut to 50 for the Bevo Francis Award.

NW takes care of business today against Northeastern State. 6 players in double digits and another nice showing by Moala on both ends.
NW gets a chance to avenge an earlier loss to Missouri Western next Saturday. What has happened to that team?!? They were competing for the top spot in the conference when they knocked of the Bearcats, but are 3-8 since. They have also lost 7 out of their last 8 games!

After 2 straight last second loses MoWest may be loaded for bear next Saturday. NW is 3-0 without Wes. Byron missed his 1st 2 fouls shots but finished with 4 straight after reverting to his ‘line drives’. Hope he’s worked though his slump at the line. NW has a week off and next Saturday should be a large loud and rowdy crowd. If MoWest ever brings as many fans here as NW takes there they’d have to turn people away.Last edited by NWFanatic; 02-17-2024, 06:43 PM.
