A bit lazy on some of these rankings on the women's side. Pitt State lost a lot and I would be surprised if they were in the top 2, let alone #1.

A lot of respect for the Washburn women, love to see it. Not a shock when the whole starting 5 is back with a couple all conference players. Wild coaches poll though, 2 and 3 both with more first place votes than #1.

Since you can't vote for your own team, I guess we know who Brett Ballard is high on this year lol.

Northwest Missouri men have really fallen off the map. I hadn't realized that. Just a few years ago they were national champs. Wild!

How accurate do most of you feel about these polls? Any sleepers?. UCM is my team and it seems like for the last 10 years we have been middle of the pack. Longing for the good ole days

I'm not really sure what to make of UCM. I wouldn't be entirely shocked if they're pretty competitive but I'm not sure the top end talent is there on the roster. Just my personal opinion though.

I'm pretty fascinated by the men and women for Mo West. I think each roster may only have one player back from last season? Pretty much completely new teams, those experiments always interest me.

The UNK men had an entirely new coaching staff AND roster last year and went 12-16 (10-9). It was a huge improvement from 5-22 (2-20) the previous year. A good example of how quickly things can change.
