Surprised hadn't seen a thread yet.

    After day one

    Duluth beats Mankato
    - from the Mankato thread sounds like lots of injuries.

    Central over Washburn

    Concordia over NW Okla

    FH over Harding in OT

    Duluth vs Central Mo
    FH vs Concordia

    Is this wide open???

If this happens it's going to be a fun second half to watch.

This weekend so far, men’s and women’s, is a huge indictment on the D2 system and whatever BS “metrics” they use. Absolutely laughable that the NSIC was considered a 1-bid league on the men’s side until UMD made sure it wasn’t.

All because of a couple games in November.

Duluth certainly has proved on the women's side they were better than an 8 seed.

Heck of a ball game. UMD came from behind again. CSP had a chance with two seconds to go in regulation but she missed both free throws. It took two OTs but the Bulldogs came through. Outstanding UMD player of the regional went to Mankato East HS so she had some fans there.

I watched the game and it was entertaining. Concordia should have won. Blew a big fourth quarter lead, the missed free throws, and of course not rebounding in overtime killed them. And Duluth was down a couple starters by the second overtime.

Hats off to Duluth though. They played through a brutal region having to face three strong opponents.

Ft Hays St junior 6'0 guard Talexa Weeter has entered the transfer portal. Averaged 27.5 points/8.9 rebounds per game.

Wow. Big time transfer. Money was probably calling from the D1 level. She could be an impact player at a P4 team.

Yep. Just ruins the D2 sports.

My prediction: Kim Wagers (Concordia-Moorhead). UMD '08 graduate. Dominated the MIAC.

I think that would be a fantastic hire, but what about David Moe from Dakota State? I dont think he would leave for Bemidiji, but maybe for UMD.
