Lots of conference movement lately. I don't necessarily think this will cause another D2 school to move up but who knows? The NEC might invite someone.

I remember NJIT not being able to find a D1 conference home for a long while, so they bounced around the independent route before they finally landed in the ASUN. D2's a better fit for them.
