Since this upcoming season is going to be reduced if played at all here is an idea. If I was a college player why not take a redshirt year or transfer to a junior college. If you don't play on the team you could then go to a four year school and still have all of your eligibility left. Also if you got your AA degree you would be closer to graduating.

Probably not necessary to transfer to a juco. If the D2 season gets derailed by Covid-19 so will juco. If the season gets cancelled outright or a few games into the season, the NCAA is going to give those kids another year without burning a redshirt just like they did for all the spring sport athletes.
