Not jealous, just realistic. Sadly, enrollment is the major driver of revenues at small private institutions. If male students are attending predominantly because they can play a game (football) and there is no football, the question becomes how many of those students will choose to go elsewhere? If they do make the choice to matriculate to another institution then revenues will suffer. Equally sad is the fact that Endowments have probably reverted to 2008 levels and will potentially not be able to plug the revenue shortfall.

Hopefully this is all just unwarranted conjecture and all of us and the schools we support will recoup their losses, keep their students and have a prosperous future.

The difference is if KWC has to go one year without football it will not have the same impact as permanently dropping the program, a la "Evansville Theater"

KWC football only received 15 commits last week. Many will never get on the field most will stay in school. Most schools are special places but KWC is even more. From the outside you can not understand.
