Maryville basketball off the rails

Maryville basketball has become a joke. Both the men and women's teams are an embarrassment. The men are currently 3-9, and the women 3-5 (Lost last 3). The women's team was decent in the past, but since the school has squeezed out their long time coach not anymore. MU appointed an assistant flunky from the men's teams as the new head coach. He has brought the bad coaching over to the women or lack of coaching. The guy has no clue what he is doing, just watch one of their games and you will see. All I can say is don't let anyone you know play basketball for Maryville, either man or woman.

Maryville big problem is they should have stayed in Div. III. Their move to Div. II never made sense. Glad the GLVC was willing to take them, made that league even worse. Maryville would not be competitive in the GMAC either. They ought to consider move back to Div. III where they had a good thing.

GLVC is still heads and shoulders above the GMAC. There are zero GMAC teams doing anything on the national stage in any sport.

All of KWC's success as Pre-GMAC. There are not teams that are actively competitive nationally in any sport! I'm talking NOW...not Pre-GMAC.
