The first Point Rating System (PRS) standings came out last night. These are used to seed the conference tournament. A reminder that all 15 teams will qualify for the conference tournament this year, with the #1 team in the PRS getting a first-round bye straight to the quarterfinals in Edwardsville.

        1. Missouri-St. Louis -- 4.65
        2. Southern Indiana -- 4.33
        3. Drury -- 4.25
        4. Truman -- 4.07
        5. Illinois Springfield -- 3.38
        6. Rockhurst -- 3.23
        7. Indianapolis -- 3.18
        T8. Lewis / Lindenwood -- 3.00
        10. Southwest Baptist -- 2.96
        11. Maryville -- 2.54
        12. Missouri S&T -- 2.38
        13. McKendree -- 2.09
        14. Quincy -- 2.00
        15. William Jewell -- 1.46

Uh oh! Why throw bulletin board material out? SBU Women's Coach Keiser"s comments in her post game interview after beating a shorthanded U Indy team: "If we play like we did today, top to bottom, we can compete with anyone in the nation".

They are confident going into tomorrow's game after their close loss on the road at USI earlier this season.

This post belongs here as this will affect everyone in D2. I put this here because some people believe everything they're taught. Look at these and draw your own conclusion:

this guy on the left is the national champion ncaa freestyle women's

the two on the left finished one and two in the state championship

There are hundreds more. "Biology" vs physics.

State championS in high school and national championS in college. They have an advantage

Yeah, this particular transfer portal is loaded with star players. I hope some drop into this conference as there are 4 to 5 teams that could make major strides with just one impact transfer.

*So far, Drury returns First Team GLVC player Alana Findley, and has some talented freshmen coming in, including a couple that had D1 offers/ interest early on. I saw a post season team workout twitter post that appeared to show Kaylee DaMitz participating. If she returns for her covid season, Drury will be solid contenders for the GLVC title again.
This team was hit hard by injury and covid, but maintained the winning culture as they finished the season ranked number 8, which is the 73rd straight week being ranked in the nation's top 10. The Lady Panthers have also been ranked in the top 25 for 135 consecutive weeks, the longest streak in the nation.

*Lewis is loaded with returning talent and has a good coach. They probably would have won 20 plus games if not for the covid curse.

*Truman returns a dominant player in Weltha. She had little help the last 6 to 7 games as the Truman offense looked ragged in my opinion. Despite also returning Belanger, It appears Theo has to bring in at least one more good player to compete for the GLVC title.

Another thing that should be clear to everyone who is paying attention: There is chronic tampering that is happening because of the current portal system.

Truman State Women’s Basketball has landed a pair of fifth-year transfers — Bailey Kliewer, a 5-11 all-MIAA honorable mention pick and 1,000 point career scorer at Rogers State, and Ainsley Tolson, a 5-8 all-Heart of America selection from a year ago at Baker in Kansas. Tolson previously played at William Jewell and was part of the 1-2 punch with Kiara Bradley for the Cardinals a few years back.

Those two will add much needed experience to Truman's young team. Truman is actually Tolson's 4th team, having also played at Avila in KCMO.
