Yes and he played against SVSU on Saturday and Indy won by 30. I really did not see much difference in Northwood and SVSU overall. SVSU was much quicker and Northwood was much bigger but overall they were about the same quality which was mediocre. Kempson only scored 11 against SVSU in 20 minutes but he must have made a big difference.

In other news affecting division rivals of BU, Lewis unexpectedly took it on the chin twice over the weekend versus Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech. Don't know much about the games themselves but surprised that Lewis would lose both.

He signed the letter with his right hand, while the video shows him shooting jump shots with his left hand. Ambidextrous is good.

Man, you got way too much time on your hands if your picking that up!

I like he had offer from Indy but chose BU. Scotty beating USI and Indy for the Evansville kids.

Knights also ink Cobe Penny (6'1" guard from Lawrenceburg, KY) and Garrett Tipton (6'4" from around central OH):

Think we've noted these guys before in recruiting talk -- nice to see Scotty snag 'em.

Penn's coach: "He's as good going to his right as he is his left. That's what makes him so hard to guard."

And USI has such a better history with their recruits and teams....

We recruit kids that fit our model such as models.

I was surprised at how tough IUS was last night. Wiley Brown has put together a pretty good team. They played great defense shutting down BU's motion offense in the first half and forced a number of turnovers. BU made some adjustments at halftime but still had some trouble dealing with IUS 3 pt shooters and quick handed guards. I guess having Jenkins unavailable and Eberhard still not 100% were part of the problem - also poor shooting 1st half. When the game got down to the deciding final 5 or 6 minutes, it was Chitty, Fleming, Ramser and Weyer that were on the floor plus clutch free throws by Eberhard. Corbett and Bach on the bench during that period. Coles did not have his best game. Still good to get a win - but IUS exposed some weaknesses that the BU coaching staff can focus on.

First half defense was lacking. Second half was much better at contesting shots. Eberhard's stat line looks good, but he lacked offensive aggressiveness. Looks like he is not 100%.Fleming was great.

We are definitely going to need Jenkins back. Any word on that?

As he so often does, Eric Crawford comes through with some good coverage of BU's last win:
