The Knights have picked up a commitment from the class of 2020 - Eli Roberts from Manual. Listed as a 6'7 forward/center at 220 lbs. Averaged about 11 points per game his senior season. Not sure if anyone else has been to local games and seen him play? Not much footage of him that I could find (although I could just be looking in the wrong places). With the need for size next year it will be interesting to see if he can contribute early on.

Very interesting -- thanks for the scoop. Hoping Scotty got another "steal" in this kid.
From what I read, Roberts was one of the top unsigned guys in the city and is a "high energy" type with good size. Needs to improve the jumper, but apparently been working on that.
He also played football (safety and wide receiver) and has top-notch academics (29 on the ACT, and 3.95 GPA).
Glad that Scotty is continuing to get real student athletes. Not at all surprised to see a Manual student with high academic achievement. My granddaughter that is currently a sophomore at BU was a duPont Manual grad. The Manual hallways are crawling with brainy kids! Hope this Eli Roberts kid can turnout to be a real find.
So, last night, yours truly dreamed about attending Bellarmine's first D-I hoops game, a road contest in Columbia, MO, at Mizzou.
My guys Moves and Stalker were there. Upon the Knights jumping out to a 4-1 lead, I tried to get a brief "NIT!" chant going.
On a similar note, I meant to post a while back that I dreamed BU announced a slate of non-conference opponents for the initial D-I seasons, and it included Creighton and Kentucky.
Knights have offered Sam Vinson, a Highlands junior guard in the class of 2021. He was voted 9th region player of the year and based on his highlights (link below) certainly seems athletic and plenty capable of scoring. A tandem of Vinson and Ben Johnson (already committed) would seem to be a talented due to lead the Knights in their first years of Division I (on a side note, is there a new board for Knights basketball with the move?) Highlight page linked below.
That is a disappointment. The stalker and moves names are classic. Reminds me of high schoolers not being able to have the same jersey number in college.
How about nighthawk, knightmare, knightsweats, silentknight, knightcourt, knightowl, knightknight, knightshift, darknight, knightshadow, Sir Inity, Sir Ender (for the French), Boogie Knights, Sir Elton John (not recommended), Knightclub, Knightspot, Fortknight (for teens), knightcap, knightlife, knightgown, knightstick,

You guys have likely already seen this, but the athletics department is hyping this, and it should be fun (think I read where Scotty is going live on Facebook during the replay of the second half): https://athletics.bellarmine.edu/new...pionships.aspx
