  • Fun stuff for regionals ... player bios

Thought I'd start this off with one of our poster's kids, Jason Todd, 6-5 Cal Baptist senior. Some impressive stuff here which I didn't know: back to back Gatorade State Player of the Year in talent-rich Washington -- wow!

MSU-Billings fans might not want to read this, but Preston Beverly is Point Loma's leading scorer and rebounder this year. The 6-7 junior was MSU-B's leading scorer last year and former GNAC frosh of the year ... dang, my conference can't lose talent like that! Anyway, another great player descending on Monmouth this weekend:

UCSD's excellent player, Christian Oshiitaa, team's leading scorer and rebounder. Nice article from the San Diego paper last year, he's taken his scoring and rebounding averages up a level since the article was written.

      * I purposely misspelled his last name because it was editing it out because sh-t was part of it, good grief. It's O****a.

Azusa Pacific post Petar Kutlesic of Serbia is a force inside, averaging nearly a double-double:

WOU senior Demetrius Trammell has been a fine two-year player for the Wolves, averaging 9 each season and deadly from the outside. From the state of Georgia and Yakima Valley CC, an excellent 3-point shooter.

Talking to myself on this thread, feel free to put your own players here. Just trying to pump up D2 hoops on the west coast.

Luke Chavez has been a great player for St. Martin's this year, leading the team in scoring and assists, and taking home all-conference and newcomer of the year awards:
