  • Cougars spend summer break winning tournament in Taiwan

Azusa Pacific took advantage of the quadrennial overseas tournament exemption to get their new guys acclimated to the team, going overseas and winning the 2018 BLIA Cup (Buddha's Light International Association), going 5-1 in the tournament, defeating Toronto in the semis and recording a 92-71 win over Universite de Lyon (France) in this morning's final. The only loss was an overtime defeat to Chien Hsin (TPE) in pool play.

Links to the knockout rounds below. Good luck understanding the commentary.

Looks like a great experience for the team, and the extra summer games can only help. I was greatly impressed by APU at the West Regionals, their game vs. CBU could've gone either way.
