Looks like I should've gone to this game the other night, NNU rolls over Simpson, but more impressively drew 2,800-plus at the gate. I believe it was homecoming, which is fairly big at NNU since they don't have football. Nevertheless, an excellent turnout in Nampa:

* NNU's heralded Nevada/Cal transfer Rodriguez scored 3 points, played 13 minutes ... not sure if it's even the same Rodriguez as he has a different first name -- Nick -- than transfer Kaileb Rodriguez, could be a nickname, however. I think the hype meter was in overdrive when this guy signed.
