I'd like to see the GNAC get two teams to regionals, that's looking like a long shot right now.

Yes, the Nooks are picking up fans left and right! Ha! You gotta love the eternal underdog, right? I'm not cheering against SPU, but wouldn't mind seeing another team win the tournament in hopes that we can get two teams to regionals. I could definitely cheer for NNU or WOU should they find themselves in the Championship game.

Cal State San Bernardino lost in the CCAA's first round, their third unranked loss in their last five. I'm projecting them at 7th in the rankings tomorrow (dropping behind PLNU), but now they're in real danger of falling out of the top 8.

Chico State and Cal Poly Pomona are both in overtime games. But even if both lose, it's hard to see a potential bid thief knocking off UCSD.

EDIT: Chico State and Cal Poly Pomona both won.

UAF loses to WWU. They played them tough in the first half but ran out of answers in the 2nd. Great season, and lots to build on. Currently, UAA is working everything to their advantage against SPU. SPU will have to make a lot of adjustments for 2nd half play... No doubt that they can, but they'll also need to slow down the three ball of UAA or match it...

SPU falls at home to UAA. Presumptive regional host UCSD narrowly avoids the same fate against East Bay.

Looks like the GNAC title game is a play-in.

I don't know if Chaminade can get in without winning the PacWest tournament; Biola definitely can't. The current top 5 in the regional rankings are all definitely in; Point Loma Nazarene would be in with a win tonight. Cal State San Bernardino will be a big fan of the top two seeds in the PacWest tournament.

On the women's side, CPP losing their first round game and CWU winning was helpful. if the Wildcats can somehow pull off the major upset against the Seawolves tonight that should get them into the regional tournament for sure. Even with the loss it will be a toss up between CWU and CPP. And we will see how WWU fares tonight too.

Point Loma wins. If Biola doesn't take the auto bid, we have a clear top seven.

On the ccaa side of things Cal Poly Pomona won easily with their best half of the season 78-53. UCSD won the game of the year in the conference 86-82, with Roberts scoring an unbelievable 45 points, a tourney record. The player of the year hit 10-12 from 3, including a bank three to win it with 3 seconds. East Bay had a heck of a effort, coming back from 15 down. My seeds for the ncaa tournament
